2. Perceived Risks of Global Warming
2.1 A majority of GitHub users say global warming will harm them personally.
More than two in three respondents (68%) say global warming will harm them personally either “a great deal” (23%) or “a moderate amount” (45%). Fewer say global warming will harm them “only a little” (18%) or “not at all” (12%).
2.2 Most GitHub users say global warming will harm future generations.
Eighty-two percent of respondents say global warming will harm future generations of people “a great deal” (67%) or “a moderate amount” (15%). Fewer say global warming will harm future generations “only a little” (6%) or “not at all” (8%).
