Three in ten Americans (30%) would be willing to join – or are currently participating in – a campaign to convince elected officials to take action to reduce global warming.
Nearly half of Democrats say they already have or would be willing to join a campaign (46%, 56% of liberal Democrats, up 7 points since we last published a report about the politics of global warming in Spring 2014). One in three Independents would do so (35%, up 13 points), and one in seven Republicans would as well (15%, up 7 points, 24% of liberal/moderate Republicans, up 11 points).
