This dot plot shows the differences in communication behaviors between Republicans who are Alarmed or Concerned about global warming and all Americans. Republicans who are Alarmed or Concerned about global warming hear or talk about it at a similar rate to the average American. Data include six waves of Climate Change in the American Mind survey data spanning December 2020 to April 2023. Refer to the data tables in the Methods section in the Climate Note for all percentages.
