This dot plot shows the differences in global warming beliefs and risk perceptions between Republicans who are Alarmed or Concerned about global warming and all Americans. Most Alarmed or Concerned Republicans perceive it is a serious risk, but fewer think it is affecting the weather or view it as an immediate personal threat. Data include six waves of Climate Change in the American Mind survey data spanning December 2020 to April 2023. Refer to the data tables in the Methods section in the Climate Note for all percentages.
