This bar chart shows the differences in political ideology, race/ethnicity, education, and income between Republicans who are Alarmed or Concerned about global warming and all other Republicans. Alarmed or Concerned Republicans are more likely to be political moderates and people of color than are other Republicans. Data include six waves of Climate Change in the American Mind survey data spanning December 2020 to April 2023. Refer to the data tables in the Methods section in the Climate Note for all percentages.
