This dot plot shows the percentages of Americans who are willing to engage in four climate actions (e.g., signing petitions, volunteering, contacting government officials), and those who have performed each action. Many Americans are willing to engage in climate action, but fewer say they have done so in the past 12 months. Data include six waves of Climate Change in the American Mind survey data spanning March 2021 to October 2023. Refer to the data tables in the Methods section in the Climate Note for all percentages.
