Polling data compiled by The Yale program on Climate Change Communication found that 88 percent of Democrats and 56 percent of Republicans believe that global warming is happening with 80 percent of Democrats and 47 percent of Republicans saying that the US should work to reduce our greenhouse gas emissions regardless of what other countries do.
