Devi Nayar


Devi Nayar

Devi is a first year Master of Environmental Design candidate at the Yale School of Architecture. Her research interests include gendered spaces in 15th century Kerala, gender and sexuality in domestic architecture and the intersection of religion, geography, gender and the built environment. Prior to coming to Yale, she ran her own architectural practice and furniture design studio. She holds an undergraduate degree in Architecture from Visvesvaraya Technological University, India and a Master of Science in Architecture from Tampere University of Technology, Finland. At Yale, she is currently also a member of the MED Committee.
