These dot plots show the percentage of registered voters, broken down by political party and ideology, who strongly or somewhat support building the following in their local area: solar farms, wind farms, electric vehicle charging stations, high-voltage power lines to distribute clean energy, nuclear power plants, large-scale battery facilities for the power grid, and oil and gas pipelines. A majority of registered voters support building clean energy infrastructure in their local area. Data: Climate Change in the American Mind, Politics & Policy, Spring 2026.
