Yale Program on Climate Change Communication

Kristen Dillard is a Master of Environmental Science student at the Yale School of the Environment. She holds a Master’s in Sustainability Management from Columbia University and a B.A. in Sociology with a minor in Environmental Science from Barnard College. Kristen’s interest in the connections between society and environment inspired her to launch EarthCurl Organics, a natural haircare business that merges sustainability and textured hair care. Through her work, she empowers people of color with sustainable haircare knowledge while making environmental education and activism more accessible to diverse communities.
