This dot plot shows the differences in support for climate policy between Republicans who are Alarmed or Concerned about global warming and all Americans. Alarmed or Concerned Republicans support climate policies more than the average American. Data include six waves of Climate Change in the American Mind survey data spanning December 2020 to April 2023. Refer to the data tables in the Methods section in the Climate Note for all percentages.
