On a beautiful fall day, Bill Blakemore of ABC News strolled through New York City’s Central Park with YPCCC Director Anthony Leiserowitz. The conversation was about the segmentation of the American public into six groups based on attitudes and beliefs about climate change, derived from YPCCC’s national surveys. The groups are called “Global Warming’s Six Americas” and range from those alarmed about the issue, to those dismissive of it.
