The first table shows the percentage of registered voters, broken down by political party and ideology, who say the following comes closest to their own view regarding the 2026 Congressional elections: I will only vote for a candidate for Congress who supports increasing the use of renewable energy (solar, wind), I will only vote for a candidate for Congress who supports decreasing the use of renewable energy (solar, wind), or a congressional candidate's position will not be a deciding factor in my vote. The second table shows the percentage of registered voters, broken down by political party and ideology, who say: I will only vote for a candidate for Congress who supports increasing the use of fossil fuels (coal, oil, natural gas), I will only vote for a candidate for Congress who supports decreasing the use of fossil fuels (coal, oil, natural gas), or a congressional candidate's position will not be a deciding factor in my vote. Many registered voters will only vote for a congressional candidate who supports increasing renewable energy use and/or decreasing fossil fuel use.
