Claire Wolgast is a first year Master of Environmental Management (MEM) candidate at the Yale School of the Environment. Spurred by research she did with the National Renewable Energy Laboratory on community opposition to clean energy development in the US, her studies are focused on the human aspects of the clean energy transition. Recently, Claire worked in the Greater Philadelphia region providing technical assistance for energy efficiency programming. She holds a Bachelor of Environmental Science from Skidmore College. Claire enjoys playing classical guitar, word games, trying pastries in new places, and watching Philadelphia (her hometown) sports!
